Introducing our 2023 Tanner Teacher of the Year

Congratulations, Jasmine Stewart!

Every day, our teachers work tirelessly to provide children with the highest-quality care and learning. They don’t seek acknolwdgement for their efforts, which makes it all the more special when their hard work and dedication is recognized. It is a pleasure to announce our 2023 Tanner Teacher of the Year, Jasmine Stewart, an infant teacher at Day Early Learning Center for Infants and Toddlers.

The Tanner Teacher of the Year is our annual award in recognition of an outstanding Day Early Learning classroom teacher. It is named after the Tanner Family, long-standing supporters of Early Learning Indiana, in honor of the endowment they started in 2019 to support teacher training and professional development.

This morning at a ceremony at Day Early Learning Center for Infants and Toddlers, Jasmine’s co-workers, friends, family and students joined us as we surprised her with a plaque and $1,500 cash prize.

Jasmine has an exceptional ability to create a safe and inclusive environment for her students and their families. Her contributions to the school culture are invaluable; she always looks for ways to help others and creates a positive and uplifting culture among the team. Jasmine will soon celebrate 7 years with Day Early Learning, and we are thrilled to recognize her commitment to children and Day Early Learning Center for Infants and Toddlers.

Please join us in congratulating Jasmine
