Team spirit helps clear playground of fall leaves

 In Alumni

The Indy Fear travelling softball team , a group of girls from area Jr. and Sr. High schools showed no fear this past Saturday when they set out to do some community service and found themselves facing mounds of leaves covering the Day Nursery Ruth A. Lilly Center playground.  A dozen volunteers led by Day Nursery controller Wanda Kaiser and her daughter Jessica (front row, left), a graduate of the Day Nursery Wiles Center, spent 3 hours raking and bagging leaves on the playground.   We thank them for their service and wish them the best when the leaves turn green again and softball season returns.
