Everything we do at Day Early Learning is aimed at nurturing each child’s social, emotional and educational needs. Our ultimate goal is not only to prepare your child for kindergarten, but also to inspire a lifelong learning journey. Well-educated and trained teachers ensure that your child will be in the best hands possible.
Here is your chance to get to know some of our Day Early Learning team members. This week, we highlight Ariel Wolfe.
Which Day Early Learning center do you work at?
Patty Jischke Early Care & Education Center.
What age group do you teach?
I am in a toddler classroom.
How long have you worked at Day Early Learning?
I have been at Day Early Learning for just over two years.
When did you know you wanted to work with children?
I’ve always known in the back of my mind that I wanted to work with children. I used to “teach” my imaginary classroom and make my little brother participate as one of my students. I’ve always had a love of children, and I genuinely love building bonds with them and their families.
How do you like to spend your free time?
I like to spend my free time sitting out on the deck with my dog, reading my book and enjoying the sunset. I also love to cook!
What is/was your favorite children’s book?
My favorite book since becoming an early childhood educator is I Ain’t Gonna Paint No More by Karen Beaumont.
What was the last moment that caused you to stop and remember why you love teaching and working with children?
Each and every time my current or former kiddos tells me that they love me or miss me makes me stop to think about my positive impact on a child’s life. That just reiterates why I do what I do!
What is your favorite thing about working at Day Early Learning?
I love my workplace at Patty Jischke. We are truly a team that you don’t find everywhere, and I’m grateful for that. My favorite thing about Day Early Learning is how hands-on the company is. Everyone is just terrific!
What other interesting facts do you want us to know about you?
I love the TV show FRIENDS! It’s nearly a personality trait.
