Purdue University Early Care and Education Center.

What age group do you teach?
I am in a pre-K classroom.

How long have you worked at Day Early Learning?
I have worked at Day Early Learning for almost one year.

When did you know you wanted to work with children?
I knew I wanted to work with children when I started babysitting at 12 years old

How do you like to spend your free time?
I like to read, hike and and spend time with my family.

What is/was your favorite children’s book?
I love The Rabbit Listed by Cori Doerrfeld because it reminds me, as an adult, to stop and listen to children.

What was the last moment that caused you to stop and remember why you love teaching and working with children?
Watching a child with social/emotional struggles become more successful remind me why I became a teacher.

What is your favorite thing about working at Day Early Learning?
I love working at Day Early Learning because they understand and support our lives outside of work.
