Lily Family Center

What age group do you teach?
I am in an infant classroom.

How long have you worked at Day Early Learning?
I will have worked at Day Early Learning since February.

When did you know you wanted to work with children?
Since I was 15-years-old.

How do you like to spend your free time?
Cooking, playing with my son, and traveling

What is/was your favorite children’s book?
Giraffes Can’t Dance

What was the last moment that caused you to stop and remember why you love teaching and working with children?
Someone complimented my son’s manners and said “His teachers must love him! You must be one, too.” It was recognized without me asking for recognition. And it’s reflected in my parenting. That’s very rewarding.

What is your favorite thing about working at Day Early Learning?
Lilly is a family. We get through things as a family. You don’t find that everywhere.

What other interesting facts do you want us to know about you?
I am earning my degree in Early Childhood Education.
