Which Day Early Learning center do you work at?
Lilly Family Center.

What age group do you teach?
I work in a preschool classroom.

How long have you worked at Day Early Learning?
I have been at Day Early Learning for about six months.

When did you know you wanted to work with children?
I have known I wanted to work with children since I was a teenager.

How do you like to spend your free time?
I am always spending time with family and friends.

What is/was your favorite children’s book?
Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss.

What was the last moment that caused you to stop and remember why you love teaching and working with children?
I reflect on this daily. Every day when I wake up, I am intentional and meditate on the day ahead. Working with children allows me to bring out my inner child.

What is your favorite thing about working at Day Early Learning?
I love getting a warm welcome from preschoolers yelling “Ms. Chelle!” every time I walk into a classroom.

What other interesting facts do you want us to know about you?
I share a birth date with my favorite children’s book author – Dr. Suess!
