Gardening Program

Things are Growing at Day Early Learning

Earlier this summer, Day Early Learning centers launched a vegetable garden program for all students. With grant funding, centers purchased materials to create garden beds and grow vegetables. Throughout the summer, children and teaching staff will tend the gardens together and learn about growing plants through classroom curriculum.

To celebrate and share our success, we are inviting all families to a garden event at their center this summer. Families can drop by throughout the event and participate in activities, learn about our gardens and take home a recipe and basket of produce.
