State Government Center

What age group do you teach?
I am in an infant classroom.

How long have you worked at Day Early Learning?
I have worked at Day Early Learning since the fall of 2013.

When did you know you wanted to work with children?
I knew I wanted to work with children when I was in high school and I took a child development class.

How do you like to spend your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking, trying new restaurants and going on adventures with my own children – Emma and Elijah.

What is/was your favorite children’s book?
The Giving Tree and Stay Wild My Child.

What was the last moment that caused you to stop and remember why you love teaching and working with children?
It’s the daily smiles and shared giggles that I receive from the infants that remind me why I love teaching and working with children.

What is your favorite thing about working at Day Early Learning?
My favorite thing about working at Day Early Learning is all the training opportunities that are offered. I enjoy learning new things and staying up to date on new studies about development.

What other interesting facts do you want us to know about you?
I have my Master Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood Education.
