State Government Center.
What age group do you teach?
I am in a toddler classroom.
How long have you worked at Day Early Learning?
I will have worked at Day Early Learning for two years.
When did you know you wanted to work with children?
I taught swim lessons when I was a Lifeguard and loved it. I always liked interacting with kids.
How do you like to spend your free time?
Traveling, swimming, spending time with friends and family.
What is/was your favorite children’s book?
The Monster at the end of this Book by Grover or any books from the Clifford series
What was the last moment that caused you to stop and remember why you love teaching and working with children?
Walking past the classrooms and seeing your kids you had move up and peeking in the rooms to wave “hi” to them and them giving you hugs in the hallway when they see you! I miss them when they move up.
What is your favorite thing about working at Day Early Learning?
Getting to know the children in your classroom as well as creating a relationship with the families and seeing the growth of the children through the year and how much they change and are able to do so much more independently and say so much more!
What other interesting facts do you want us to know about you?
My mom and my grandma are both born on the same day as me – February 21st!
