Which Day Early Learning center do you work at?
IU Health.

How long have you worked at Day Early Learning?
I have been at Day Early Learning for three years in November.

When did you know you wanted to work with children?
I applied for a job working with children on a whim and absolutely loved it. I knew that working with children was definitely the field for me.

How do you like to spend your free time?
I go hiking basically every weekend and love going to EDM shows!

What is/was your favorite children’s book?
Giraffes Can’t Dance.

What was the last moment that caused you to stop and remember why you love teaching and working with children?
One of my kiddos kept stopping in the middle of play just to say “I love you Miss Kayla.” Best start to a Monday ever.

What is your favorite thing about working at Day Early Learning?
The kiddos. We truly have a school family, and they’re all hilarious.

What other interesting facts do you want us to know about you?
I have the best doggo in the world!
