Purdue Early Care & Education Center.

What age group do you teach?
I work in a 2-year-old classroom.

How long have you worked at Day Early Learning?
I have been at Day Early Learning for about 10 months.

When did you know you wanted to work with children?
I’ve always been good with children and knew I wanted to work with kids when I was in high school.

How do you like to spend your free time?
I have a small business, but I also like to go fishing and hunting with my fianće.

What is/was your favorite children’s book?
The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn.

What was the last moment that caused you to stop and remember why you love teaching and working with children?
A student recently started reading along with me in a book and was so excited!

What is your favorite thing about working at Day Early Learning?
It feels like a family here. Everyone cares about each other, especially the children and their families.

What other interesting facts do you want us to know about you?
I love doing art activities in the classroom.
