What age group do you teach?
I am in a toddler classroom.

How long have you worked at Day Early Learning?
I have been at Day Early Learning for almost nine years.

When did you know you wanted to work with children?
I worked at a small daycare in Bloomington after college and fell in love with teaching young children!

How do you like to spend your free time?
Reading, playing video games and going on adventures with my family.

What is/was your favorite children’s book?
Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes.

What was the last moment that caused you to stop and remember why you love teaching and working with children?
Recently, I was playing with a baby, tickling them and they smiled and laughed. Those small moments remind me why I love what I do.

What is your favorite thing about working at Day Early Learning?
My favorite thing about working at Day Early Learning is when the kids arrive in the morning and immediately run to me for a hug. I love that they feel safe with me and are excited to see me every day.

What other interesting facts do you want us to know about you?
I’ve been a vegetarian since I was a baby!
