Log Cabin lunch

 In In Our Classrooms

log cabin made with paper rollshomemade log cabinThe three-year olds at the Day Nursery Ruth A. Lilly Center do many creative activities in their classroom. Occasionally they send me so many pictures, I have a hard time keeping up with them. Forgive me if I am a few days late with this post showing the fun activities that went on in their classroom around Thanksgiving. Center Director Shannon Garrity tells me that the children used boxes and paper towel rolls and put together this log cabin during November. They glued and painted. Then they got to take the “pilgrims” and play with the cabin. They also invited their family in for a Thanksgiving lunch. This was also their table setting for the feast. All homemade. We are thankful for Ms. Sara and Ms. Caroline, their teachers!!
