I am in a three-year-old classroom.

How long have you worked at Day Early Learning?
I have worked at Day Early Learning for about 13 years.

When did you know you wanted to work with children?
I told my mother I wanted to be a teacher when I was 18 years old.

How do you like to spend your free time?
I like to spend time relaxing at home with my family.

What is/was your favorite children’s book?
Better Move on Frog.

What was the last moment that caused you to stop and remember why you love teaching and working with children?
One of the last moments that made me remember why I became a teacher was when a child that I had been helping finally saw me as the safe person for them. They came to me and just hugged me until they were not sad anymore.

What is your favorite thing about working at Day Early Learning?
The relationships that I have formed with other teachers, parents and students.

What other interesting facts do you want us to know about you?
I am a huge Harry Potter, Doctor Who and anything Lin Manual Miranda fan.
