Eastern Star Church.
What age group do you teach?
I am in a preschool classroom.
How long have you worked at Day Early Learning?
I will have worked at Day Early Learning since 2012.
When did you know you wanted to work with children?
Since 1989 when I started working at my first Childcare Center.
How do you like to spend your free time?
Spending time with husband and family, sitting on my deck, watching birds and looking at my flowers.
What is/was your favorite children’s book?
The Velveteen Rabbit.
What was the last moment that caused you to stop and remember why you love teaching and working with children?
When a child smiled and hugged me when they were able to complete a task successfully. It was so rewarding to see the look of accomplishment on their face.
What is your favorite thing about working at Day Early Learning?
The teamwork of staff and the support of others in the company.
What other interesting facts do you want us to know about you?
I am married, mother of an adult son and daughter and grandmother.
