Which Day Early Learning center do you work at?
State Government Center.
What age group do you teach?
I spend time in all of our classrooms.
How long have you worked at Day Early Learning?
I have been at Day Early Learning for more than 10 years.
When did you know you wanted to work with children?
I used to babysit in high school. It made me realize how much I love working with children.
How do you like to spend your free time?
I enjoy writing songs, spending time with family, reading and watching movies.
What is/was your favorite children’s book?
The Monster at the End of This Book by Jon Stone.
What was the last moment that caused you to stop and remember why you love teaching and working with children?
It’s an incredible feeling to enter a classroom and a child rushes over to give you a hug.
What is your favorite thing about working at Day Early Learning?
All of the families we serve are wonderful and I have the best co-workers.
What other interesting facts do you want us to know about you?
I wrote a 10-minute song about soup that has been used in over 5,000 TikTok videos and 4,000 Instagram reels!
