Snowy Monday just right for pajama day

 In Special Events

Have you ever awaken on a Monday morning in winter and wished you could stay in your pajamas all day?  I’ll confess that I often pull on clothes over my pajamas when I head out to walk the dog on dark winter mornings.  The lucky children and teachers at the Day Nursery Hendricks County Early Care and Education Center in Avon got to wear their PJs to school today in celebrate of the longest night of the year, the winter solstice.  As an added bonus, the preschool classrooms had cookies and cocoa while they listened to the book The Polar Express. Center Director Joy McCall shared some pictures of their fun day.

Even Center Director Joy McCall got into the spirit of Pajama Day.

Mr. Matt and his Preschool 4 class enjoyed a snack.

Mr. Matt and Mrs. Miriam are very animated story tellers.
