Stephanie Nelson

Stephanie began her early childhood education career in 2015 and quickly grew into leadership roles. She first joined Day Early Learning (DEL) in 2022 as an operations manager at the Federal and IU Health schools—and she is excited to return to the DEL team once again.

Relationship-building is at the heart of her work. She believes a simple, “Good morning!” or “Have a nice evening!” can make a big difference in helping families feel welcomed and supported. Her favorite children’s song is “Tony Chestnut,” especially because of the joy children have doing the motions.

Outside of work, she and her children love spending time outdoors—hiking, camping and exploring new places together.
